Help us to Develop the Laser Model Yacht
The RC Laser is such an easy travelling companion that your trip of a life-time can be to compete in a regatta in Europe, the US, Fiji, South Africa or South America!
To realise such dreams, we need your help to develop fleets, clubs and associations. To join the Association, go to Racing Your RC Laser where you will find information about the Association and how to join. The Association is not-for-profit, it is cheap to join and will introduce you to other sailors in your area. It also provides you with a sail number to race with, member-only tips and contact with an international racing community.
To start a fleet in your area, contact us on radiosail@bigpond.com.au .
Starting a Laser Model Yacht fleet or club is easy and very satisfying. We will do our utmost to provide you with all the help and support you need.
We believe the Laser Model Yacht will be the boat of choice for many, like us, who are keen sailors but do not have the time to devote to a One-Metre Class or other multi-design radio controlled yachts and do not have the means to support competitive big boat sailing. The RC Laser is also the best boat around for those who are new to sailing. It offers the opportunity to learn, to compete and improve without fear or frustration.
We hope that many members of the Association will be people for whom sailing is a new experience, who decide to give it a go and discover for themselves the joys of spending a few hours cruising or racing with the easy to manage yet always challenging RC Laser.
