Hull Numbers
Congratulations on your choice of a RC Laser .
Following its success in the USA, the RC Laser class is now a fast growing class in the UK, South Africa and Australia. More than 3,000 RC Lasers have already been sold worldwide.
If you wish to race your boat you will be required to place the hull number on the boat and the last two digits of the hull number on the sails. The International letters (AUS) will also be required on the sail if racing in an international event.
Hull registration numbers in the Australia are controlled by Radio Control Sailing Australia and are issued when you join the RC Laser Register. Guidance on sail numbering can be found on this web site – go to Sail Numbering .
Here at Radio Control Sailing Australia, we have built a sheet of helpful tips on how to get the best out of your RC Laser. This can be found on the Go Faster page.
By registering your boat with the RC Laser Register you will receive one set of sail numbers. To do this you must complete the form provided with each boat .
Self adhesive numbers may be obtained from the RC Laser Register; e-mail info@radiosail.com.au
